Promoting Positive Behaviour and Our House System<\/u><\/p>\n

At St. Vincent\u2019s Primary School, we aim to create a caring, respectful and inclusive community where every child feels valued and supported to do their best.<\/p>\n

Children\u2019s Rights, as outlined in the UNCRC, are central to our school ethos. Staff work with pupils to understand their rights and responsibilities and to show respect for others. Positive behaviour is encouraged and celebrated through our Class Charters, assembly awards, and certificates recognising effort and achievement.<\/p>\n

We expect the highest standards of behaviour at all times. When issues arise, we use supportive strategies to help pupils reflect and improve. We value the strong partnership we share with parents in promoting responsibility, respect and positive choices. Visitors regularly comment on the excellent behaviour and manners of our pupils.<\/p>\n

To build teamwork and school spirit, we operate a House System. Each child, along with their siblings, belongs to one of four Houses for their time at St. Vincent\u2019s. Children earn House Points for showing our Gospel values and contributing positively to school life. Points are collected throughout the year, with a special celebration for the winning House each term and the House of the Year announced in June.<\/p>\n
