At St Vincent’s, the Sacraments are a special part of our school and parish life. Children prepare for each Sacrament with the support of their families, parish catechists, and school staff through This Is Our Faith. Before each Sacrament, there will be an information session for parents and carers.

Reconciliation – Primary 3
Children in Primary 3 celebrate their First Reconciliation (Confession), learning about God’s love, forgiveness, and making good choices. A workbook is sent home so families can share in prayers and activities together.                                                        Reconciliation: Thursday 19th March 2026 at 6:00pm

First Holy Communion – Primary 4
In Primary 4, children celebrate their First Holy Communion, receiving Jesus in the Eucharist for the first time. Families are encouraged to join in preparation at home and celebrate this joyful occasion.
First Holy Communion: Saturday 16th May 2026 at 11:00am

Confirmation – Primary 7
Primary 7 pupils receive Confirmation, when the Holy Spirit strengthens their faith. This Sacrament is always celebrated in our parish church, as St Vincent’s is the host school and parish for this special event.
Confirmation: Tuesday 28th April 2026 at 7:00pm
