At St. Vincent’s Primary School, we believe every child’s voice matters. Our Pupil Voice Groups give children the opportunity to share ideas, take on leadership roles, and make a real difference in the life of our school. These groups meet regularly and work alongside staff and the school leadership team to ensure our pupils help shape decisions and contribute to our community.
Our current Pupil Voice Groups include:
-
Mini Vinnies – supporting the Catholic life of our school through prayer, charity work, and service. They raise money for good causes and work closely with our local parish and the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
-
Mini Librarians – leading the development of our new school library. They help organise reading clubs, literacy groups, and promote a love of reading across the school.
-
iLeaders – supporting digital learning and responsible technology use. They are helping to develop our new “iHospital”, where pupils learn to triage and repair school iPads.
-
Health Ambassadors – promoting healthy lifestyles and wellbeing through school events, activities, and awareness campaigns.
-
Eco Committee – helping our school become more sustainable by leading recycling, gardening, and environmental projects in our local area.
- Junior Road Safety Officers (JRSO) – promoting road safety and responsible travel within the school community. They lead campaigns, create resources, and help ensure safe practices for walking, cycling, and scooting.
Through these roles, our pupils learn the importance of teamwork, responsibility, and community — becoming confident, caring, and active contributors to both school and wider society.
