The Eco group is all about keeping our school sustainable and raising awareness of Climate Change. Our school is located near a motorway which causes a lot of air pollution in the air of our playground. We have worked hard to fight for a living wall to help fight this issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our main agenda is to maintain the school playgrounds by planting, weeding and litter picking. Our Eco committee collect the recycling bags from each classroom and recycle the contents every week. We are currently working on a new whole school project to raise funds for our ECO group. We are asking pupils to bring recyclable cans and bottles to school. We will recycle them at Lidl using their Deposit Return Scheme and receive money for each item recycled. We plan to use this money to purchase seeds and gardening equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
