Marys Meals

Hello,

On Friday Mr Duffy from Marys meals gave us an presentation about people in Africa and how they help them.

They said they give them back packs with soap, tooth paste and a tennis ball as a toy a more.

He also told us a couple facts like there are around 40-50 children in a class and they have to take a test to get into the next primary and if they fail they stay where they are.

P5 Done the great Scottish Run!!!

The P5s have taken part in the great scottish run compieting with many other schools in the area. Well done to all that took part, hope you had a fun time and learned the importance of exercising. All I can say is it was a tough run with no training. Anyway thank you to all the parent helpers and staff that supervised the classes while we were there. Looking forward to next year!
