Welcome

Welcome to St Brendan’s Primary School and thank you for visiting  our website.

St Brendan’s is a Roman Catholic Primary School which serves the community of Yoker, we have a strong partnership with our Parent Council , Fr .Joe McAuley and St Brendan’s RC Parish Community.

We are a vibrant, successful school where we have set high standards for our pupils and ourselves.  Our school is based in Clyde Campus which we share with Clyde Primary School and Yokerburn Early Years Centre.

Relationships and Wellbeing are two of our most important drivers and sit firmly at the heart of our Curriculum Rationale.  Our challenge is to create emotionally supportive environments for our young people.  Through our nurturing approaches and positive climate we provide a safe , nurturing school where everyone is valued as an individual and through our core values we are an inclusive school, where we celebrate and embrace diversity.

Achievements are recognised and celebrated. it is important that individual talents and interests are promoted and we aim to provide activities and events both within and out with school to cater for a variety of interests.

Our positive and successful partnerships with parents, carers and the wider community ensure the highest quality of education across all curricular areas.  In our school education means more than the acquisition of skills and learning of facts.  It is about nurturing, recognising and developing the spiritual, emotional, social, physical  and academic needs of the whole child .

On behalf of all of the staff of St Brendan’s PS we look forward to working together in partnership with you, we are committed to do our very for your child and are confident that they will achieve success here in our school.

A very warm welcome to our school.

Gemma Rutherford (Head Teacher )
