We created our own astronaut helmets just like Auggie has in the book, Wonder.
We did this to show what it’s like to be so ashamed of your face that you want to cover and hide it every day.
We showed our helmets off at assembly and told the rest of the school about Wonder and why it is so important that we all treat each other kindly.
The main message of the book is CHOOSE KIND.
