To continue the\u00a0development of family learning and attainment in our school I am looking for parent volunteers to be involved in a number of initiatives as follows. Volunteering is an excellent way\u00a0to become more involved in\u00a0the school and increase your own\u00a0skills and confidence. Please see myself or contact the office for more information. All parents are welcome to join these events.<\/p>\n
Reading Challenge<\/p>\n
To promote and raise attainment in reading Miss O’ Hagan would like to invite parents to read with children during class time. This would involve 1 -2 hours of your time each week. Full training is provided. Please give your name to the office. First meeting is on Thursday 28th February at 2pm.<\/p>\n
School Reports<\/p>\n
To promote effective communication between teachers and parents we require\u00a0to\u00a0change our school reports. It is vital that parents are involved in this process therefore I am asking for parents to be bring their suggestions to a group discussion with me on Wednesday 27th February at 2pm. Please give your name to the office.<\/p>\n
Home Learning<\/p>\n
To promote effective home learning which is consistent and progressive in all stages I require suggestions and feedback from parents.
