Your children have settled in very quickly and already there is a Buzz about our school.<\/p>\n<p>Welcome to all our new families joining this week. We are delighted you are here!<\/p>\n<p>I aim to update this Family Blog weekly. You should receive a link along with our weekly diary on a Friday afternoon. There is also a QR Code available that takes you straight to our blog page. Please feel free to ask questions here or contact me via my email which is attached.<\/p>\n<p>Family learning is very strong in St Albert&#8217;s and is important to us as a school and to all our families in our community. We have excellent Family Participation &amp; Engagement and welcome everyone to be involved. Below are our main events this term. Please contact me if you have ideas for more school involvement.<\/p>\n<p>Term 1 Events<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Meet the Teacher\u00a0 \u2013 Tuesday 27<sup>th<\/sup> August @ 2.15pm in your child\u2019s class<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Drop in to meet your child&#8217;s new teacher and see what learning is planned for this term.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Annual General Parent Meeting \u2013 Tuesday 27<sup>th<\/sup> August @ 5.30pm in room 10<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>All<\/strong> parents are welcome to our yearly teacher and parent council information session. All new members of our Parent Council welcome. Refreshments will be served. Child care available on request.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Family Play Sessions for Primary 3 &#8211; Tuesday 3rd September @1.30pm (Runs for 6 weeks)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Primary 3 parents\/carers are invited to join their child in outdoor play activities. Please let the office know if you wish to attend.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Welcome Mass &amp; Farewell to Father John \u2013 Friday 6<sup>th<\/sup> September @ 10.30am in hall<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All families are welcome to attend.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Mc Millan Coffee Morning \u2013 Thursday 26th September @ 9.15 -11am in hall<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>All<\/strong> parents\/carers are invited to our annual charity event. Come along to meet new people, enjoy snacks and win prizes.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>September Weekend \u2013 Thursday 26th September @ 3pm &#8211; Tuesday 1st October @ 9am.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Enjoy!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Parents evenings \u2013 Tuesday 8<sup>th<\/sup> October @ 5 \u2013 7.30pm &amp; Wednesday 9<sup>th<\/sup> October @ 3.15 \u2013 5.30pm<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All parents are invited to meet their pupil\u2019s teacher to discuss their child\u2019s learning and progress.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>October holidays Thursday 11<sup>th<\/sup> October \u2013 Monday 21st October <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Enjoy!<\/p>\n<p>Events will be updated weekly. Please look out on the notice board and here for updates.
