Please try to come along so that we continue to receive funding for further courses. If there is a particular course you are interested in please email me or leave a comment at the bottom of this page.<\/p>\n<p>We are now into our 4th week of the course<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Introduction to healthy eating for community groups SCQF Level 4<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thank you to those who have attended &amp; stated that they found the course very informative &amp; fun. There is still time to catch up so please come along on Friday @ 9.30am.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>First Aid Course on 22nd March @ 9am &#8211; 2.30pm<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>This one day course will cover<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Incident management, Unconscious Casualty, Recovery Position, CPR &amp; AED (Adult \/ Child)<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Choking (Adult \/ Child, Blood Loss, Shock, Minor injuries, cuts\/burns\/ bites-Stings<\/p>\n<div>The practical scenarios covered require the candidates to have the ability to demonstrate the practical elements in order to obtain the certificate .<\/div>\n<div>There is also a multiple choice theory assessment consisting of 16 questions at the end of all the areas covered.<\/div>\n<div>Please phone the office asap if you would like a space.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>St Albert\u2019s Walking Bus\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<p>We hope to start our walking bus on Monday the 26th February 2024. This will be led by our support staff to school and from school. We have arranged a meeting with our catering supervisor Liz Mc Dougall <strong>on the 5th March at 2pm. Please come along if you wish to be involved in this discussion.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>International Women\u2019s Day Lunch<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This will be held on <b>Wednesday 6th March 12 &#8211; 3pm<\/b>. We have guest speakers, amazing hot food, music &amp; dancing. Please purchase your tickets from the office costing \u00a35. Please bring your family and friends.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>World Book Day Family Picnic\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><i>Please come along to our family reading picnic <a dir=\"ltr\" href=\"\/\/0\">on Thursday 7<\/a><sup><a dir=\"ltr\" href=\"\/\/0\">th<\/a><\/sup><a dir=\"ltr\" href=\"\/\/0\">\u00a0March at 2pm<\/a>. At the picnic your children will be sharing some learning, art work and food, inspired by a book they have really loved. We invite you to join us for this celebration. If you would like to bring some food to share, please do.
