Good Afternoon and welcome back to school. Your children have settled in very quickly and already there is a Buzz about our school.

I aim to update this Family Blog weekly. You should receive a link along with our weekly diary on a Friday afternoon. There is also a QR Code available that takes you straight to our blog page. Please feel free to ask questions here or contact me via my email which is attached.

Family learning is very strong in St Albert’s and is important to us as a school and to all our families in our community. We have excellent Family Participation & Engagement and welcome everyone to be involved. Below are our main events this term. Please contact me if you have ideas for more school involvement.

Term 1 Events

• Meet the Teacher  – Tuesday 27^th August @ 2.15pm in your child’s class

Drop in to meet your child’s new teacher and see what learning is planned for this term.

• Annual General Parent Meeting – Tuesday 27^th August @ 5.30pm in room 10

All parents are welcome to our yearly teacher and parent council information session. All new members of our Parent Council welcome. Refreshments will be served. Child care available on request.

• Family Play Sessions for Primary 3 – Tuesday 3rd September @1.30pm (Runs for 6 weeks)

Primary 3 parents/carers are invited to join their child in outdoor play activities. Please let the office know if you wish to attend.

• Welcome Mass & Farewell to Father John – Friday 6^th September @ 10.30am in hall

All families are welcome to attend.

• Mc Millan Coffee Morning – Thursday 26th September @ 9.15 -11am in hall

All parents/carers are invited to our annual charity event. Come along to meet new people, enjoy snacks and win prizes.

• September Weekend – Thursday 26th September @ 3pm – Tuesday 1st October @ 9am.

All parents are invited to meet their pupil’s teacher to discuss their child’s learning and progress.
