At Springburn Academy all S1 pupils are given the chance to learn an instrument.

Our very experienced and highly accomplished Instrumental Instructors are:

Mr Milne: guitar, bass guitar, brass

Mrs Dunsmore: woodwind (flute, clarinet, saxophone)

Mr Sweeney: piano, keyboard, voice

Mr Fawcell: drum kit and percussion

Mr Muir: drum kit and percussion

Mr Harvey: brass (trumpet, cornet, tenor horn, trombone, euphonium, baritone)

Mr Harvey: upper strings: violin

Lessons are timetabled on a rota.  Pupils should see their instructor during Personal Support time to get their lesson slip for that day.

Pupils can be loaned brass, woodwind and string instruments.
