Jodie, Bethany, Chanelle, Ellie, James and Scott had a fabulous day with Kieron today. I was so impressed by everyone’s confidence in the water and in the single canoes. Well done all of you. I will be with the last two groups tomorrow and am looking forward to seeing them all working as well as the other groups have.

Water is magic!   

So the day was started off  with a lovely wee sing-song. As I have always said, if it’s not embarrassing it’s not worth it.

So there was another team exercise this evening with the focus on listening, teamwork and communication. I’ll let you decide which groups were successful at this!

They were all quickly into dry clothes and supplied with hot chocolate and biscuits.

I assume they’ll be a bit quicker to sleep tonight.

We are sailing, We are sailing…

An eventful day on the Gare Loch today with two of the groups. Great achievements from all of the children and Mr McGlinchey expressed how impressed he was by all the children getting into the boats and into the water. A good time was had by all but I’m sure the tales will become taller by the time you hear them in person.

I’ve worked out that the video lengths were too long to upload so that has hopefully been sorted now.
