Your teacher is currently completing your tracking report. This should be with you in the next week or so. The most important thing is that you know what you need to do to improve. If you don’t then spend some time reflecting on your learning and measuring your progress against the course checklists. It is also important that you seek guidance and support from your teacher to set an action plan that will get you to where you want to be.
We all want the same thing; for you to achieve success.
I know from conversations I’ve had over the past week that many of you in the senior phase are finding the transition from one level to another very challenging. It’s understandable to have these thoughts and frustrations as you come to terms with a course that is way more demanding than the one you studied last year. The important thing is to acknowledge how you are feeling whilst taking assertive action to overcome these feelings.
Could the following help?
Remember that the department cares passionately about you and your learning so please don’t hesitate to use our support.
You should already be reflecting on what you have learned. Think about the things you can do and the areas you need to improve on. Working on these areas regularly from the beginning of the year is the best strategy for success. If you need further support then browse the videos and notes that have been uploaded or see your class teacher.
