Ceol ‘s Craic

SGG were asked to perform as part of the Ceol ‘s Craic concert at the CCA. The Busking Fiddlers, Craicte Leis and Orcastra SGG performed a wide range of music, including highlights from Gruth is Uachdar.

After the interval, former SGG pupils Joseph and Shauna collaborated with Alistair MacDonald, creating an exciting new performance of three Gaelic songs. Next, there was a short set from Catriona McKay and Chris Stout, who then provided music for an experimental piece by The Snyver Project, which combined visual art, sculpture, dance and music.

Ms Chaimbeul introduced the acts, and told us that the word from backstage was that the other performers were blown away by how talented our pupils are. This may become an annual event, so watch this space!
