To allow pupils participating in the Fiddle Groups at the National Mod time to rehearse, Orcastra SGG will rehearse every other week until the October break. There will be additional Fiddle Group rehearsals before the Mod, which will be announced in due course.

At this time of year, many pupils are beginning a new instrument and will be looking for an instrument to practise on. It is very important that your child has an instrument to practise on at home, which is in good condition and makes a good sound.
Haydock Music offer a Musical Instrument Hire Scheme allowing you to try an instrument of your choice without buying outright. This will enable you to limit the financial risk and also see if you or someone else has an aptitude for the chosen instrument. It is based on a 24 month rental period with a minimum 4 month initial commitment.
Once you have selected your instrument, you then pay a monthly fee based on the value of the instrument (examples of prices are shown beside). We can rent new, second hand, ex demo or ex rental and all charges will depend on the value of the instrument. We supply all types of instruments at various prices for rental.
When you have completed all 24 payments, the instrument is yours without anything further to pay.
