Welcome to Riverside Primary School.
Riverside Primary School is a non-denominational school situated in the Govan community. We are very proud of our wide and diverse school population. The school opened in August 2010 following the amalgamation of Copeland and Hill’s Trust Primary Schools. We are based in the Govan Road Campus building which was officially opened in June 2012. We share many areas of the campus with St Saviour’s Primary School and Broomloan Nursery School and we work closely together.
The staff, pupils and families of pupils attending our school have worked hard together to establish Riverside Primary School within the Govan community. We really enjoy working in our modern, bright building that offers a great environment in which to learn. We continuously strive to ensure that there is a strong ethos of high expectations for all of our pupils so that everyone can achieve. We take great ‘Pride at Riverside’ in the many achievements of our pupils not only in academic subjects but an all areas of school life and beyond. We have 10 classes this year with 8 in the main building and two in our hut beside the lunch hall. We are confident that all of our children are happy in school and that our families enjoy working with us to provide a positive and safe place to learn.
