This week, Primary 6A has been channeling their inner astronauts! We\u2019ve been concentrating on sharpening our recount writing<\/b> skills. The class took on an exciting challenge: writing a detailed recount from the unique perspective of Neil Armstrong during the moon landing<\/b>. They\u2019ve worked hard to use strong descriptive language and structure their writing clearly.<\/p>\n

In Maths, our focus shifted to measurement<\/b>. We delved into the world of metric measurement<\/b>, learning not just how to measure with accuracy but also how to confidently convert between different metric units<\/b> (e.g., millimeters to centimeters, meters to kilometers). This is a crucial skill for real-world problem-solving!<\/p>\n

Our Topic work explored the vital resource of water<\/b>. We compared and contrasted water uses in developed and developing countries<\/b>, specifically looking at the differences and similarities between Scotland and Sudan<\/b>. This has sparked some fantastic discussions about resource management and global citizenship.<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udfa8 Art Corner: Cubist Creatures<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

To get into the Halloween spirit, the class got creative in Art! Inspired by the famous artist Picasso and the Cubism movement<\/b>, Primary 6A produced some truly unique and spooky masterpieces: a series of cubist Dracula portraits<\/b>! They used geometric shapes and multiple perspectives to create abstract, eye-catching Halloween art.<\/p>\n
