It has been another busy week in p5a!<\/p>\n
In Maths we have been working on different strategies for long multiplication \u2013 we have used the box method, partitioning and the algorithm. We have all worked very hard on these. In writing we completed our short stories, we made sure to uplevel our writing to make it exciting and help our readers visualise through our descriptive language.\u00a0 We continue to work on our reading skills and strategies every week and also applied our roles through reciprocal reading groups.\u00a0 In PE we have been working on developing skills for Tennis. we completed our Titanic Topic this week by looking at the lives of some of the people who were aboard the titanic. We then finished by working with partners to create a display of knowledge of everything that we have learned about \u2018The Unsinkable Titanic\u2019. \u00a0This week has also been Scottish Book week, where we celebrated our reading successes. We also had a special assembly this week where we learned all about the Commonwealth Games coming to Glasgow in 2026.
