As always we have been busy working hard in p4a this week. In Maths we have been working on adding and subtracting multiples of 10 and 100. As well as beginning to look at the algorithm strategy for addition, using number bonds, correct place value and exchanging where necessary. In writing we were developing our character descriptions to\u00a0 use within a spooky story. In Reading we have begun working with our PM levelled reading books and have been applying our strategies to text level work within this.<\/p>\n
We began the week by reviewing and evaluating our term one targets and setting new ones for term 2. \u00a0We also explored self control and ways to calm down when we feel big emotions in PATHS.<\/p>\n
We wrote an Autumn poem using our senses and rhyming couplets, they were super!<\/p>\n
This week we also created some art work inspired by Tim Burtons characters for the spooky season! We used great shading detail.<\/p>\n
