We also went outside to take part in a Maths scavenger hunt.<\/p>\n<p>In writing we have been looking at character descriptions and have created our own character to use for our detailed descriptions next week.<\/p>\n<p>In reading we are nearing the end of our Novel The Hodgeheg , we have been learning lots of strategies and skills to support our reading and have been working on applying these with the text. We have also been developing our skills through our roles in reciprocal reading groups.<\/p>\n<p>As part of our Scottish wildlife topic this week we went outside to be wildlife detectives, looking for clues and evidence of animals in our school grounds.
