This week, we finished our Scotland topic and had the exciting opportunity to see and hold some fascinating animals.<\/p>\n

Literacy<\/strong>
In literacy, we continued working on persuasive writing. We also created a fact file all about Highland cows and completed activities linked to our reading books.<\/p>\n

Maths<\/strong>
In maths, we continued learning about fractions and practised addition and subtraction using number lines.<\/p>\n

Other Learning<\/strong>
We enjoyed a visit from Zoolab, who brought a variety of animals for us to meet, including a bearded dragon, a tarantula and a snake. We also created colourful Highland cow artwork inspired by the Scottish artist Steven Brown.<\/p>\n
