We have had a very fun and exciting week in primary 3\/2.<\/p>\n
In writing we have been looking at a new topic called recount writing. We started our week recounting the events of the weekend in a short story in our jotters. We then used our superhero topic to do some writing for our specials trays.<\/p>\n
In maths and numeracy we have continued our topics of shapes and place value. We have looked at part whole models to partition 2 digit, or even 3 digit, \u00a0numbers. With Mrs McDonald we did a rotation where we played games based on shapes.<\/p>\n
In science we have been looking at different fabrics and materials. We used Mr McColls old T-shirts to design our very own superhero cape. We learnt about three types of fabrics; wool, cotton and lycra.<\/p>\n
In PE, we have continued to learn about how we can use our hands and feet effectively.<\/p>\n
We are excited for next Thursday for you to see our classroom and what we have been learning about.<\/p>\n
