This week we have had another busy week learning lots of new and exciting things.
In writing we have been looking at describing words – adjectives – to write character descriptions of superhero’s. We were also very excited to receive another letter from captain skyfire! He set us a new challenge which we completed successfully. We also read a book about a girl called Tilda, who never gives up! We then wrote about her feelings.
In maths, we have continued to look at 2D and 3D shapes with Mrs McDonald. In numeracy, this week we have also been doing addition calculations, adding numbers up to 20, up to 30 or even up to 100. With Ms Jardine, we looked at skip counting in 2s!
In PE, we are looking to develop our hands and feet skills. We completed an obstacle relay race focusing on how we can use our hands and feet together! We also did a shapes game with Ms McDonald.
This week we have also been looking at our cutting skills and seeing if we can improve our technique when using scissors to cut out paper. We were set a challenge to cut up our superhero and be able to glue it back together!
