Primary 3-2 Wallacewell Primary

Welcome to P3/2

This week in Primary 3/2, we have been very busy with our Snapshot Jotters. We have been learning about character descriptions and linking them to our IDL topic of Superheroes. We also did some writing in Health and Wellbeing, focusing on what makes a good friend and what makes us happy.

In Maths and Numeracy, we’ve been focusing on place value, looking closely at tens and ones. We have also been learning about 2D and 3D shapes. We looked at the months of the year and wrote about our favourite one. We’ve continued to practise skip counting in twos.

In RME, we read the story Jesus Feeds the 5000. We then explored how it might have felt to witness such a miracle.

In French, we learned the names of nine different fruits. Working together, we figured out which fruit was which, and then drew a picture of each one.

Finally, we revisited the targets we set last week for the term ahead. We’ve already started to take steps in the right direction to achieve them!

We hope you’ve enjoyed hearing about our week!
