For Halloween, we made some fantastic skeleton art using straws \u2013 the children were very imaginative with their designs.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"269\" data-end=\"517\">In phonics, we focused on the <em data-start=\"299\" data-end=\"306\">\u201cue\u201d<\/em> sound and practised writing sentences, helping the children apply their learning in context.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"269\" data-end=\"517\">In maths, we continued to work on adding and subtracting using tens and ones, building our confidence with numbers.
