{"id":48,"date":"2025-10-24T15:20:43","date_gmt":"2025-10-24T14:20:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/gc\/primary2bwallacewellprimary\/?p=48"},"modified":"2025-10-24T15:20:43","modified_gmt":"2025-10-24T14:20:43","slug":"a-great-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/gc\/primary2bwallacewellprimary\/2025\/10\/24\/a-great-week\/","title":{"rendered":"A Great Week!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s2\">This week in our class, we have been very busy and creative!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s2\">In <\/span><span class=\"s1\">writing<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, we wrote about the story of <\/span><span class=\"s3\">The Enormous Turnip<\/span><span class=\"s2\">. We enjoyed retelling the tale in our own words and describing all the characters who helped to pull out the giant turnip!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s2\">In <\/span><span class=\"s1\">maths<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, we continued to work on adding using <\/span><span class=\"s1\">concrete materials<\/span><span class=\"s2\">. Everyone has been practising really well and showing great understanding when combining numbers together.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s2\">We also did <\/span><span class=\"s1\">amazing at our Harvest Show<\/span><span class=\"s2\">! We sang, danced, and acted beautifully on stage \u2014 well done to everyone for their hard work and confidence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s2\">In <\/span><span class=\"s1\">technology<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, we went outside to take photographs and then used them to create beautiful <\/span><span class=\"s1\">autumn scenes<\/span><span class=\"s2\">.
