This week in P2\/1, the children have continued to develop their learning about dinosaurs.<\/strong> They enjoyed exploring dinosaur habitats and learning about which dinosaurs lived on land and which lived in the sea.<\/p>\n

We were also very fortunate to welcome Zoolab into school. During this exciting visit, the children learned about a variety of animals, exploring their features and habitats. Many pupils showed great courage by holding the animals and asking questions. This experience provided a fantastic stimulus for writing, where the children recounted the visit and described the animals they had seen and held.<\/p>\n

In maths, the focus was on measure. The children are becoming increasingly confident using concrete materials to measure accurately. They worked very well in pairs to count and measure a range of objects and even measured each other, demonstrating excellent teamwork.<\/p>\n

It has been a very positive and successful week of learning in P2\/1.<\/p>\n
