P2/1 at Wallacewell Primary School have had another busy and exciting week of learning!
As part of our class learning about the NHS, the children have been exploring the important role of a pharmacy. They really enjoyed a hands-on activity where they mixed their own “medicines” and practised making prescriptions. It was fantastic to see everyone so engaged in their learning.
In literacy, we had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day. The children made a fantastic effort dressing up as their favourite book characters and it was lovely to see so many different stories represented. We also created book reviews about our favourite books and shared them with our classmates.
In numeracy, we have been exploring weighing. The children used everyday objects to investigate and compare different weights through practical activities, helping them to develop their understanding in a fun and engaging way.
Well done to P2/1 for another fantastic week of learning.
