We have had a fantastic week of learning in P1B! 🌟

In our playroom, we have continued exploring our topic, Room on the Broom. We investigated forces through exciting push and pull experiences and enjoyed bringing the story to life through role play. We used different voices and body language to represent the characters and really got into our roles! One of our favourite experiences was mixing the witch’s brew, carefully adding different ingredients to our very own cauldrons.

In writing, we continued developing our descriptive writing skills. We drew pictures of what we would put in our own magical cauldrons and used a word mat to help us describe our creations. We also worked on sequencing the story by placing the characters in the correct order on the broomstick. This helped us to develop our understanding of the story and recall the events in the correct order.

During PATHS, we explored the theme of friendship and thought about what it means to be a good friend. We discussed the importance of being kind, caring and supportive towards others and how our actions can help make our classroom a happy place for everyone.

Well done, P1B, for another fantastic week of learning, creativity and fun! We are so proud of all your hard work and enthusiasm. We look forward to another exciting week ahead!
