This week in P1B, we have been learning our new initial sounds \u2018<\/strong>r\u2019 and \u2018m\u2019. We are growing in confidence when using our sounds to read and build CVC words. We enjoyed using our magnetic boards to practise blending sounds together to make words.<\/p>\n

In Numeracy, we have been focusing on adding two numbers together. We have been developing our understanding of addition and becoming more confident when finding the total using concrete materials.<\/p>\n

We are also growing in confidence when writing sentences using tricky words. We have been practising writing simple sentences and drawing pictures to match what we have written. We are very proud of the progress we are making!<\/p>\n
