What a wonderful and busy week we\u2019ve had in Primary 1a!<\/p>\n
We started the week with big smiles and smart poses as we had our school photographs taken. Everyone looked fantastic, and we can\u2019t wait to see the finished pictures!<\/p>\n
In our literacy learning, we were excited to explore two new sounds: \u2018p\u2019 and \u2018n\u2019. We use catchy songs and fun characters to help us remember each sound\u2014why not ask your child to sing them for you? So far, we\u2019ve learned the sounds s, a, t, p, i, and n, and your support at home with revising these will really help your child\u2019s confidence grow.<\/p>\n
In numeracy, we\u2019ve been practising our numbers to 10. We\u2019ve used lots of hands-on activities to help us count, recognise, and form the numbers correctly.<\/p>\n
Our classroom has also been full of Superhero energy this week! We\u2019ve been showing kindness and helpfulness to one another and celebrated these super actions by designing our own Supertato characters. It\u2019s been a fantastic way to mix creativity with learning about what it means to be a kind friend.<\/p>\n
In music, we\u2019ve been learning all about beat and rhythm. One of our favourite moments was marching to different songs \u2013 including the lively Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride<\/em> from Lilo and Stitch<\/em>! It really got us moving and grooving in time with the beat.<\/p>\n Thank you for your continued support at home.
