Primary 2A with Mrs Cumming\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Summary of Learning<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n In literacy we will be continuing the Daily Supported Reading programme each morning at 9am to increase our fluency and expression when reading texts.\u00a0 In phonics we will continue to learn and overlearn sounds to support our reading and written work. In writing we will be exploring a range of characters to help us write character descriptions. We will be challenging ourselves to use connectives and interesting adjectives.<\/p>\n In Numeracy and Maths we will be exploring subtraction by using a range of different strategies. We will also be learning about measurement and time.<\/p>\n Our topic this term will be all about fairy tales and story mapping. We will be looking at some of our favourite fairy tales and breaking them down into key parts so we can retell them ourselves. We will also be continuing to use the iPads in class to help support with our learning and exploring how to upload photos.<\/p>\n PE Days<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Our PE days this term will be Monday and Thursday. Please come to school dressed for PE and wearing no jewellery.
