S1 BGE MUSIC COURSE

In S1 pupils will have the opportunity to has a taster on a variety of different instruments. We also learn about the Instruments of the Orchestra and Musicals.

S2 BGE MUSIC COURSE

In S2 pupils develop the skills learnt on each instrument in S1 to perform as a mixed group. We also learn about Scottish Music, Popular Music and Music and the Media.

S3 BGE MUSIC COURSE

In S3 pupils choose two instruments which they wish to specialise on and begin to build up a repertoire of music from different styles and genres. We also learn about World Music, Classical Orchestral Music and Classical Vocal Music.
