GLASGOW SCHOOLS TRIATHLON <\/strong>\u2013 ensuring that children and young people of the City have the opportunity to participate in events linked to sport in particular Glasgow 2018 European Championships.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This event is organised in partnership with Glasgow City Council, Education Departments Physical Education, Physical Activity, School Sport (PEPASS) team and Blairvadach Outdoor Centre.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is a challenge style event which will not be timed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Secondary (S1-3)<\/strong> \u2013 with all participants doing all 3 activities: –
\nSwim distance – 150 metres
\nBike distance – 4km
\nRun distance \u2013 2km<\/strong><\/p>\n

ASN Schools participation in any or all the events with adapted bikes supplied.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Primary<\/strong> 6\/7 – Must be able to swim and have completed a block of Education\u2019s Learn to Swim programme<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Relay style with one participant doing each activity: <\/strong><\/p>\n

Or 1 pupil doing all 3 events.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Swim distance \u2013 50 metres
\nBike distance – 2km
\nRun distance \u2013 1km<\/strong><\/p>\n
