Work Experience

During my School Work Experience week I shadowed my local MSP Sandra White. This gave me an opportunity to see what it is like to represent so many people. During this week I played an active role in the constituency office as well as visiting Holyrood. I was fortunate enough to attend First Minister’s Question Time as well as being involved in other parliamentary activities

I am going to university to study Journalism and Politics. After this course is complete, I hope to get a job working for a newspaper or any major news source.

I enjoy watching football.

Advice to S1 Pupils

The best bit of advice I could give is never to be scared of trying new things. In my six years at Hillhead I have challenged myself to try new things which has worked out on some occasions. The other key bit of advice is to enjoy school. Six years go in very quickly, so just enjoy it!
