The school recognises that allergic reactions can be serious and potentially life-threatening and will take reasonable steps to minimise risks while ensuring pupils are able to participate fully in school life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">To support the safety of pupils and staff, we ask the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Wash hands<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Do not share food, drinks, bottles, or utensils<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Follow staff instructions on allergy-safe spaces<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Check ingredients before bringing into school<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Be aware, some children have life-threatening allergies<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Parent\/ Carer Reminder:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Notify the school of any diagnosed allergies<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Provide up-to-date medication<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Inform SLT of any changes to your child\u2019s condition<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong><u>No foods must contain nuts<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Allergy Awareness At Parkview Primary we are Allergy Aware.
