At Parkview Primary School we put our children at the heart of all that we do. We work closely with our parents\/carers and partnership agencies to Get It Right For Every Child (GIRFEC). We understand that every child is an individual and use Glasgow’s 4 stage intervention process to plan effectively to ensure our children’s needs are being met.<\/span><\/p>\n Stage 1: Additional support provided in class.<\/span><\/p>\n Stage 2: Additional support provided out with class, e.g. English as an Additional Language (EAL) teacher, Challenge Leader of Learning (CLOL) teacher or Support for Learning for dyslexia, dyscalculia, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n Your child will have a stage 2 Additional Support Needs Plan written and reviewed biannually with family.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n Stage 3: Additional support provided by one external agency, e.g. Counselling.<\/span><\/p>\n Your child will have a Health and Wellbeing Plan (WAP) written and reviewed biannually with family.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n Stage 4: Additional support provided by more than one agency or by health or social work.<\/span><\/p>\n Your child will have a Health and Wellbeing Plan (WAP) written and reviewed biannually with family.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n If you wish to discuss your child’s needs please do not hesitate to contact your child’s class teacher or Michelle Watt, Depute Head Teacher.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" At Parkview Primary School we put our children at the heart of all that we do.
