{"id":1423,"date":"2019-10-10T13:46:46","date_gmt":"2019-10-10T13:46:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/gc\/ourladyoftheannunciation\/?p=1423"},"modified":"2026-09-09T14:43:15","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T14:43:15","slug":"breakfast-club","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/gc\/ourladyoftheannunciation\/2019\/10\/10\/breakfast-club\/","title":{"rendered":"Breakfast Club"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>Big Breakfast<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Glasgow City Council&#8217;s <strong>Big Breakfast<\/strong> service is available to all pupils at Our Lady of the Annunciation Primary School every school day.<\/p>\n<p>Big Breakfast gives children the opportunity to enjoy a healthy and nutritious breakfast in a safe, friendly and supervised environment before the school day begins.<\/p>\n<h3>\ud83e\udd63 What&#8217;s for Breakfast?<\/h3>\n<p>Children can choose from:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A selection of cereal<\/li>\n<li>Toast with spread and\/or preserve<\/li>\n<li>Fruit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\ud83d\udd57 Times<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Big Breakfast opens:<\/strong> 8.00am<br \/>\n<strong>Breakfast service finishes:<\/strong> 8.45am<br \/>\n<strong>School begins:<\/strong> 9.00am<\/p>\n<p>We kindly ask that children <strong>do not arrive before 8.00am<\/strong>, as supervision is not available before this time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>At 8.45am, children are escorted to the playground, where they are supervised by OLA Support Staff and members of the Senior Leadership Team until the school day begins at 9.00am.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>\ud83d\udcb3 Cost<\/h3>\n<p>Children who are entitled to a <strong>free school meal can attend free of charge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For all other children:<\/p>\n<p><strong>First child \u2013 \u00a32 per day<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Additional siblings \u2013 \u00a31 per day<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Payment can be made through <strong>ParentPay<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>\ud83c\udf4e Dietary &amp;
