Through Pupil Voice, children have meaningful opportunities to share their ideas, take on leadership roles and contribute to real change and improvement across our school.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">We are proud to have achieved our Silver Rights Respecting Schools Award in January 2025, recognising our work to embed children&#8217;s rights and the principles of the UNCRC throughout school life.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Pupil leadership also plays an important part in our digital journey, and in September 2026 we were delighted to achieve the Digital Schools Award, recognising our whole-school commitment to high-quality digital learning.<\/p>\n<h3>Our Pupil Voice Groups<\/h3>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Every child has opportunities to contribute to Pupil Voice through a range of whole-school leadership groups and class-based groups.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Whole-School Pupil Leadership<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Children from across the school have opportunities to take on additional leadership roles through groups and activities including:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Pupil Council<\/li>\n<li>Eco Committee<\/li>\n<li>Reading Ambassadors<\/li>\n<li>Dyslexia Ambassadors<\/li>\n<li>Sports Captains<\/li>\n<li>Junior Road Safety Officers<\/li>\n<li>School Choir<\/li>\n<li>Librarians<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Class-Based Pupil Voice Groups 2026\u201327<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Every class also takes responsibility for an important area of school improvement:<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Primary 1 \u2013 Promoting Play<\/strong><br \/>\nHelping to make play fun, inclusive and meaningful for everyone.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Primary 2 \u2013 Litter Defenders<\/strong><br \/>\nLeading our work to care for our school environment and supporting our Eco commitments.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Primary 3 \u2013 Reading Champions<\/strong><br \/>\nPromoting reading for pleasure and helping to develop a positive reading culture across OLA.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Primary 4 \u2013 Pilgrims of Hope<\/strong><br \/>\nSupporting the faith life of our school through prayer, worship and opportunities to put our faith into action.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Primary 5 \u2013 Healthy Heroes<\/strong><br \/>\nPromoting health and wellbeing and encouraging our school community to make healthy choices.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Primary 6 \u2013 STEM Stars<\/strong><br \/>\nChampioning Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths and helping to develop exciting STEM opportunities across the school.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Primary 7 \u2013 Digital Warriors<\/strong><br \/>\nLeading and supporting digital learning across OLA, sharing their skills with pupils and staff and promoting safe, responsible and creative use of technology.<\/p>\n<p>Through these groups, our children learn that their ideas matter, their voices are heard and they can make a
