Our uniform helps create a sense of belonging and identity, promotes equity across our school community and supports the high standards we have for all our children.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"auto\" data-section-id=\"1nqdth9\" data-start=\"319\" data-end=\"340\"><strong>Our School Uniform<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"342\" data-end=\"383\">Our school colours are blue and grey.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"385\" data-end=\"416\">Our school uniform consists of:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"418\" data-end=\"561\">\n<li data-section-id=\"14yldrc\" data-start=\"418\" data-end=\"443\">Light blue school shirt<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1778dno\" data-start=\"444\" data-end=\"456\">School tie<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1c5cde9\" data-start=\"457\" data-end=\"488\">Plain blue jumper or cardigan<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1dnelir\" data-start=\"489\" data-end=\"537\">Plain grey trousers, skirt, pinafore or shorts<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"tcu24v\" data-start=\"538\" data-end=\"561\">Suitable school shoes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"563\" data-end=\"645\">During warmer weather, blue and white gingham summer dresses may also be worn.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"647\" data-end=\"708\">We encourage pupils to wear their shirt and tie each day.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\" data-section-id=\"12gf6qh\" data-start=\"710\" data-end=\"725\"><strong>School Ties<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"727\" data-end=\"782\">Pupils in Primary 1\u20136 wear our standard school tie.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"784\" data-end=\"931\">Our Primary 7 pupils wear the school&#8217;s senior crested tie, recognising their role as the oldest pupils and leaders within our school community.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"933\" data-end=\"1005\">School ties are available to purchase from the school office for \u00a37.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"auto\" data-section-id=\"1fat6gr\" data-start=\"1007\" data-end=\"1033\"><strong>Ordering School Uniform<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"1035\" data-end=\"1146\">Badged school uniform items are available from Stevensons, either online or from their Clarkston Road shop.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"1148\" data-end=\"1249\">Families are also welcome to purchase plain uniform items in our school colours from other retailers.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"auto\" data-section-id=\"1a6de7a\" data-start=\"1251\" data-end=\"1260\"><strong>PE Kit<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"1262\" data-end=\"1388\">Pupils should come to school wearing their school uniform each day and bring their PE kit with them to change into for PE.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\" data-section-id=\"12keyrf\" data-start=\"1390\" data-end=\"1405\"><strong>Primary 1\u20133<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"1407\" data-end=\"1539\">To make changing easier for our younger children, Primary 1\u20133 pupils may wear their blue school polo shirt to school on PE days.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"1541\" data-end=\"1693\">They should still wear their usual grey school trousers, skirt, pinafore or shorts and bring their PE bottoms and trainers with them to change into.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\" data-section-id=\"12kf1bu\" data-start=\"1695\" data-end=\"1710\"><strong>Primary 4\u20137<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"1712\" data-end=\"1866\">Primary 4\u20137 pupils should come to school in their usual school uniform, including shirt and tie, and bring their full PE kit with them to change into.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\" data-section-id=\"1gspx3h\" data-start=\"1868\" data-end=\"1882\"><strong>Our PE Kit<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"1884\" data-end=\"2001\">\n<li data-section-id=\"pkd6wa\" data-start=\"1884\" data-end=\"1912\"><strong data-start=\"1886\" data-end=\"1912\">Blue school polo shirt<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"o7e3iv\" data-start=\"1913\" data-end=\"1986\"><strong data-start=\"1915\" data-end=\"1959\">Dark jogging bottoms, leggings or shorts<\/strong> \u2013 dark grey, navy or black<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"19xn2lo\" data-start=\"1987\" data-end=\"2001\"><strong data-start=\"1989\" data-end=\"2001\">Trainers<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"2003\" data-end=\"2111\">PE lessons may take place <strong data-start=\"2029\" data-end=\"2052\">indoors or outdoors<\/strong>, so pupils should have suitable kit and footwear for both.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"2113\" data-end=\"2187\">All pupils should also bring a <strong data-start=\"2144\" data-end=\"2186\">filled water bottle to school each day<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"auto\" data-section-id=\"1wogcrp\" data-start=\"2189\" data-end=\"2206\"><strong>Jewellery &amp; PE<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"2208\" data-end=\"2464\">For health and safety reasons, <strong data-start=\"2239\" data-end=\"2297\">all jewellery must be removed before taking part in PE<\/strong>. Jewellery and other personal effects can become caught or cause injury to the wearer or another pupil during physical activity.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"2466\" data-end=\"2676\"><strong data-start=\"2466\" data-end=\"2510\">Jewellery must not be covered with tape.<\/strong> Glasgow City Council guidance confirms that taping jewellery does not remove the risk of injury and is therefore not permitted.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"2678\" data-end=\"3015\">If a pupil is unable to remove their jewellery, for example following a recent piercing, they will not be able to take part in the physical elements of the PE lesson.
