Name:<\/strong> Michelle Doherty<\/p>\n Role:<\/strong> Principal Teacher<\/p>\n Class\/stage:<\/strong> P7<\/p>\n About me:<\/strong> I\u2019ve been teaching in Notre Dame since the new building opened in 2013, before that I worked in a bookshop and then for Glasgow Libraries.<\/p>\n Favourite subject to teach<\/strong>– I most enjoy teaching reading and exploring texts, I also love teaching debating. I\u2019m one of the teachers who is working alongside children in school towards getting our next UNCRC Rights Respecting School award, we have our Bronze Award.<\/p>\n Hobbies and interests:<\/strong> I enjoy going to gigs, reading, cooking, going for meals with my friends and exploring new places.<\/p>\n Fun fact:<\/strong> Once, when I was on holiday, I was with my family on a party bus we drove along a causeway with the Pacific Ocean on one side, and the Atlantic Ocean on the other.
