The ALN &amp; Inclusion Base is co-located within Lochend Community High School, and is led by a Depute Head Teacher and Principal Teacher. Young people are supported by class teachers and support for learning workers.<\/p>\n<p>Young people are allocated a space within the ALN or Inclusion Base following a successful referral to Glasgow City Council&#8217;s Area Inclusion Group (AIG).<\/p>\n<p>There are a variety of ways in which young people within the ALN &amp; Inclusion Base are supported. These include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Opportunities for small pupil\/ teacher ratio lessons<\/li>\n<li>Differentiated materials according to specific needs<\/li>\n<li>Enhanced focus on Literacy, Numeracy and Health and Wellbeing<\/li>\n<li>Opportunities for pupils to attend mainstream classes with support<\/li>\n<li>College and work placements in senior school<\/li>\n<li>Opportunities for pupils to access social experiences in the wider school through lunch time clubs<\/li>\n<li>Participation in the MCR programme. MCR (Motivated, Committed &amp; Resilient) is a mentoring service which supports young people across Glasgow to realise their potential.
