Design<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/gc\/test123\/faculties\/drama\/\"><strong>Drama<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/gc\/test123\/faculties\/music\/\"><strong>Music<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 Here at Lochend Community High School, students can participate in both subjects at all levels up to Advanced Higher.\u00a0 All students are timetabled for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/gc\/lochendchs\/faculties\/performing-arts\/drama\/\">Drama<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/gc\/lochendchs\/faculties\/performing-arts\/art-design\/\">Art<\/a><\/strong> and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/gc\/test123\/faculties\/music\/\"><strong>Music<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0classes in S1 and have the opportunity to continue their studies through to S6.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Through the <strong>Performing Arts<\/strong>, we aim to inspire students to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>develop self-expression;<\/li>\n<li>grow in confidence;<\/li>\n<li>be creative;<\/li>\n<li>use their imagination;<\/li>\n<li>improve their performance skills;<\/li>\n<li>work effectively with others;<\/li>\n<li>learn about different themes and issues;<\/li>\n<li>see things from a different perspective;<\/li>\n<li>be reflective.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Art, Drama<\/strong> and <strong>Music<\/strong> are thriving subjects at LCHS which make an invaluable contribution to the wider life of the school.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"builder-text-column builder-text-column-2\" id=\"builder-section-text_37-column-2\">\n<div class=\"builder-text-content\">\n<h5>FACULTY staff<\/h5>\n<p><b>Ms K Carmichael<\/b>\u00a0| Faculty Head | Drama<br \/><strong>Ms K Begg<\/strong>\u00a0 | Music<br \/><strong>Miss R McFarlane<\/strong> | Music (PTPS)<br \/><strong>Miss M McGough<\/strong> | Music<br \/><strong>Mrs L Neil <\/strong>\u00a0| Music (Depute Head Teacher)<br \/><strong>Ms N McArthur<\/strong>\u00a0| Art &amp;
