The course allows pupils to develop key transferable skills in literacy and numeracy and prepares them for future study in sciences at Lochend CHS. Learning takes place in a variety of ways including through practical activities and investigations, independent and group research, class discussions, problem solving activities and independent class work.

In S2 Sciences, pupils will begin to experience the discrete sciences of chemistry, physics and biology.
