In S1 all pupils will study French and in S2 and S3 pupils will continue to study French with either German or Spanish as a second foreign language. You will also be introduced to various elements of French culture through the media of film, music and internet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Broad General Education<br \/> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All pupils in the BGE will experience a curriculum that offers an understanding of key aspects of language. They will undertake a variety of learning activities to explore the subject, including but not limited to:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px\"><strong>Society<\/strong> | Friends &amp; Family, Lifestyles, Media, Global Languages and Citizenship<br \/><strong>Learning<\/strong> | Learning in Context, Education<br \/><strong>Employability<\/strong> | Jobs, Work and CV&#8217;s<br \/><strong>Culture<\/strong> | Planning a Trip, Other Countries, Special Event, Literature, Film &amp; Television<\/p>\n<p><strong>Senior Phase<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pupils will undertake 4 assessments for National 4 and National 5 \u2013 one speaking, one listening, one reading and one writing. You will be able to access a variety of resources including excellent interactive and ICT packages.
