The Family Fund helps families with\u00a0disabled children and young people aged 17 and under to have choices and the opportunity to enjoy ordinary life.<\/p>\n
The fund\u00a0will award\u00a0grants for things that make life easier and more enjoyable for the disabled child, young person\u00a0and their family, such as washing machines, driving lessons,\u00a0computers and holidays.<\/p>\n
The Fund is a registered charity, helping around 53,000 families on the lowest of incomes across the UK.\u00a0They\u00a0provide grants to these families\u00a0totalling\u00a0\u00a331 million pounds a year.<\/p>\n
