Faculty "vision" …

Extra-Curricular

Every Wednesday lunchtime History Film Club runs in T08 with Miss Burrell. As part of this we watch films which have some historical background or relevance but are rarely known for this purpose. We began the year by watching Boy In Stripes Pyjamas and discussed the Holocaust.

Stephanie says: “Come along to HFC (History Film Club) we tend to watch really old but good movies ie Boy in Striped Pyjamas and The Help. I like going to HFC because all we do is watch movies and eat our lunch after we watch a movie we discuss what happened.”

Amy says: “History Film Club is a great place to learn a lot about history while watching a film. it is also enjoyable to have a laugh and we get to choose what film we watch. there is loads of choice of film like Hairspray, The Book Thief, Coach Carter and loads more…”

Leigh claims: “History Film Club is a good thing to do because you learn a lot but you are also enjoying yourself”

S1 and 2 are welcome and bring your lunch with you!
