Candidates will investigate a range of job roles and career opportunities as well as participating in a job interview.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s19\"><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont20\">Candidates will also develop a wide range of skills, including research and self-evaluation skills. Emphasis throughout all Units is on the employability skills and attitudes which will help prepare candidates for the workplace.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s5\"><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont20\">National 4 &amp; 5 courses have <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont20\">five<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont20\"> units that pupils must pass to gain an overall award:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s16\"><span class=\"s8\"><span class=\"bumpedFont20\">* <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s8\"><span class=\"bumpedFont20\">Working in the Health Sector<\/span><\/span>\u200b<span class=\"s8\"><span class=\"bumpedFont20\">*<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s8\"><span class=\"bumpedFont20\"> Life Sciences Industries <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s8\"><span class=\"bumpedFont20\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s16\"><span class=\"s8\"><span class=\"bumpedFont20\">* <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s8\"><span class=\"bumpedFont20\">Improving Health &amp; well-being<\/span><\/span>\u200b<span class=\"s8\"><span class=\"bumpedFont20\">* <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s8\"><span class=\"bumpedFont20\">Physiology of the cardiovascular system<\/span><\/span>\u200b<\/p>\n<p class=\"s16\"><span class=\"s8\"><span class=\"bumpedFont20\">* <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s8\"><span class=\"bumpedFont20\">Working in non-clinical roles<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s8\"><span class=\"bumpedFont20\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s5\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Assessment<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"s5\"><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont20\">At both National 4 and National 5 level all assessment is done within the school, throughout the whole year. There is no final exam.
