underline\"><strong>Once a week take a peek!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"s1\">Check your <\/span>child\u2019s head regularly with a fine-toothed detection comb.<\/li>\n<li>If you spot lice check the rest of the family and treat all infected head\u2019s at the same time.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Avoid head-to-head contact and sharing brushes\/combs with infected people<br lice:<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use a detection comb in wet, well-conditioned hair making sure you get all the hair, root to end! Repeat this every 3-4 days for 2 weeks to be certain all the lice have been caught<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Medicated lotions\/sprays are another option<br \/>\n<em><strong>If using medicated lotions, remember <\/strong><\/em><em><em><strong>to follow instructions carefully and only use after a definite sighting of live lice!<\/strong><\/em><\/em><\/p>\n<hr in the hair<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">The most common age for kids to get them is between 4 and 11, so be vigilant with checking<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Symptoms are not always present \u2013 don\u2019t use this as an indicator of lice<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">If your child is persistently catching lice you should seek further advice from a health professional<br \/>\n<hr
